RDA Covid-19 Emergency Fund Appeal
Our groups are now suspended, but 4000 horses and ponies still need your help – and over 25,000 disabled children, young people and adults are relying on us to be there for them when the crisis is over.
COVID-19 has resulted in all our 500 groups having to close. For many, this means the loss of their vital weekly income, which supports the care of horses and other vital day-to-day expenses. Around the UK, over 4000 horses and ponies are affected, still needing food and care.
With no clear idea of when we will be able to start activities again, some of our groups will have to close their doors permanently – meaning we will not be able to resume the vital services we deliver to disabled children and adults.
The RDA Covid-19 Emergency Fund Appeal will allow us to direct funds to those groups most in need. We are redirecting existing money to this appeal wherever possible, but we need your help to make our efforts go further, to ensure as many groups as possible can open their doors again when this crisis is over.
Your support will ensure the life-changing activities we deliver – which cannot be accessed anywhere else – continue to have a positive impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of 25,000 disabled children, young people and adults all over the UK.
Thank you in advance for your donation, which will make a difference and ensure the future of the RDA community.
