Honorary Secretary
Location: Hope in the Valley RDA, Nr Ditchling, East SussexGeneral administration of the Group, including attendance at monthly meetings and AGM. Liaison with RDA National Office and RDA Regional Officers. Dealing with general enquires and correspondence. The role is partly done from home and partly at Plumpton College on Wednesday afternoons in school term time when riding sessions take place.
Volunteer Co-ordinator
Location: Hope in the Valley RDA, Near Ditchling, East SussexRecruiting, supporting and rewarding volunteers. Good communication skills are required, including email. Tasks include preparation of weekly volunteer lists for riding sessions and organising training courses. The role is partly done from home and partly at Plumpton College on Wednesday afternoons in school term time.
Marketing & PR Volunteer
Location: Wenlo RDA, Nr Loughborough, LeicestershireEnthusiastic person required to promote local awareness of our activities in different media to attract new volunteers. Publicise achievements and promote fundraising opportunities. Experience of the local area, marketing and PR required. Committee member to provide all necessary support. Role requires a minimum of 1 hour per week.
Yard Volunteer
Location: Tyne & Wear RDA, Washington, Tyne & WearWe are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, hardworking person to help out with general yard duties and assist our riders with special needs.
Experience is an advantage, but not necessary as full training is provided.
RDA Instructor / Coach
Location: Horsley & Bookham RDA, Nr Guildford, SurreyRequired: A RDA Instructor qualified Instructor for every other Sunday for 2 hours to take a session for a group of 6 children 6 – 11 years of age
Leader / Sidewalker
Location: Henley RDA, OxfordshireA person able to lead a pony or walk alongside a rider during lessons at Checkendon Equestrian Centre on Wednesdays during term time between 2pm and 3pm.
Applicants should enjoy working with children but do not need to be particularly “horsey”
Leader / Sidewalker
Location: Mid Cheshire RDA, Knutsford, CheshirePatient person requires to help leading and/or sidewalking at new sessions on Thursday mornings from 10.30 to 11.30 term time only, starting September. Opportunity to assist with grooming and tacking up if experienced; but experience not essential. Good social opportunity, we provide free tea/coffee for volunteers.
Leader / Sidewalker
Location: Eston Equitation Centre, EstonCaring volunteers required Tuesday mornings 9am – 12 noon, term time only to act as pony leaders and sidewalkers to assist RDA Lessons at Eston Equitation Centre, Eston.
No experience necessary as training will be given.
