Rossington Hall says ‘thank you’ to long-serving Secretary

After 28 years as Secretary to the Rossington Hall Group, Stancee Wedd decided at the recent AGM that it was time to hang up her pen and hand over the reins to someone else. She thanked her husband Colin for his support over the years. Colin Wedd founded the RDA in 1985, starting with nothing, to build the group up to the incredible facility that it is today.

It provides a unique horse riding and horse experience to hundreds of adults and children each year, something which they wouldn’t normally be able to access. Colin responded, “It has taken years of hard work to get to the stage we are at now, something that is of great value and a fantastic asset to Doncaster, South Yorkshire and RDA, and I thank everyone who has contributed to make it so. Stancee in particular has done a tremendous job over the years”. Colin and Stancee remain as Trustees and volunteers of the Group.
