RDA appoints National Fundraising Trustee

RDA has appointed Jacqui Scott as the charity’s new Fundraising Trustee. Jacqui, who volunteers at Wormwood Scrubs RDA Group in London, is currently Head of Fundraising & Communications at Book Aid International, and has a proven track record developing and leading fundraising strategies for high profile charities.
“We increasingly undertake fundraising activities for the benefit of the whole organisation,” says RDA Chief Executive, Ed Bracher, “and we are pleased to have found someone who can help to make this a more structured, coherent – and ultimately more financially rewarding – part of what we do. Jacqui will be providing direction, support and guidance on all aspects of fundraising at RDA, and she is certainly a welcome addition to our Board of Trustees.”
“I am delighted to be able support the RDA in this way,” says Jacqui. “I firmly believe that fundraisers – with their strong connections throughout the charities they work for – have a lot to offer at a strategic level. The RDA is at a crucial point in its development, particularly in fundraising terms, and I hope to be able to be part of helping them secure a strong financial future.”
