Cycle challenger on track to raise £25,000 for RDA

RDA is set to benefit from the extraordinary efforts of Countrywide Farmers employee, Charles Delf, who is on target to raise £25,000 for the charity. Charles is undertaking an epic bike ride totaling 1150 miles in 11 days, on a route that takes him past 46 Countrywide stores.“The challenge I have set myself is to cycle around all the Countrywide stores between April 30th 2012 and May 11th 2012,” explains Charles. “This is a total of around 1150 miles. I will be starting from Countrywide’s Head Office at Evesham, and will go as far a field as Carmarthen, Exeter, Chertsey, Market Harborough and Wrexham and all the 46 other stores in between before heading back to Evesham.” Countrywide Chief Executive, John Hardman, will join Charles for at least half the gruelling trip.

“Countrywide is a fantastic supporter of RDA, and we have been lucky enough to be chosen as both their company and staff charity for the past three years,” says RDA Chief Executive, Ed Bracher, who will be joining the bike ride on 1 May. “Charles’s cycling challenge is really capturing people’s imagination and we wish him all the best on his adventure.”

Charles has already raised over £10,000 in sponsorship, and is on track to reach his target of £25,000. To support Charles, please visit
